Drill tips from ProFound Drill Solutions for the “De Nieuwe Meer” interchange in the Netherlands

ProFound Drill Solutions is proud to be contributing to the construction of the “De Nieuwe Meer” interchange. This is a key component of one of the largest current infrastructure projects being executed in the Netherlands. Located southwest of Amsterdam, close to Nieuwe Meer, this half-star interchange will significantly improve the traffic flow across North Holland.

Our first drill tips for this project were recently successfully drilled into the ground. In total, no less than 2,800 drill tips will be installed. They will be arranged in rows of six and spaced two meters apart. Together with the pile foundations, these will form a solid foundation structure that will support the new highway, which is obviously a critical element in regard to ensuring long-term stability and safety.

While our drill tips might be buried deep underground and out of sight, they will remain a vital part of the infrastructure throughout its lifetime.
